  • Street Tree Twinning Project

    I was excited to launch the Street Tree Twinning Project at the Inspiral London Nightwalking festival this weekend.

    Trees at the start and end of the Inspiral trail were twinned, marked by a bark rubbing from the tree they're twinned with.



  • Coming up: May/June

    Throughout May and June, the exhibition 'Readings in Passage: Mountain Reflections' by artists of the CAAKE project continues at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady, County Derry.

    I'll be leading a workshop on 'Meditative Movement' on Saturday 27 May, 2.00-4.30 pm. Contact RVACC to book.

    Fellow CAAKE artist Tara J Murphy and I will be leading a workshop and discussion at the 'Art and Sound' symposium in Leicester, 24-25 June. The theme of the symposium is 'Craft' and we'll be focusing on the interface between movement and materials. Details and registration here.



  • Coming up: September/October

    On Saturday 24 September, I'll be presenting 'Tideshift', a reworking of my piece 'Flotsam', for the Inspiral London Festival.

    Meet at the Cutty Sark pub, Ballast Quay, London SE10 at 12.00 for an afternoon of walks, talks and artists' interventions along the foreshore and Thames path.

    In October I'll be in New Zealand, presenting work at Auckland Old Folks' Association. Dates and details soon.



  • Coming up: June and July

    A few things happening over the next few weeks:

    First up, I'm excited to be performing with Duckie Associate Artist Lucille Power at Lady Malcolm's Servants' Ball at the Bishopsgate Institute on 24-24 June. Click here to buy tickets.

    Then on 2 July I'll be with the Strange Names Collective for the first of three performances of The Naming of Clouds, at Somerset House, part of Paths to Utopia. Tickets free, click here to book.

    And on 24-25 July I'll be bringing 'The Listening Ground' to Chisenhale Dance Space. This two-day workshop will explore strategies of creative rest and regeneration, drawing on practices of listening and self-witnessing to replenish our resources and restore some of the joy in playing and making.
